SUMMER CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

The workshop is Saturday, July 25th, 2015.

The morning will be spent teaching the students what creative writing is, the importance of creative writing, and how to write creatively. Local experts will speak to the students on their particular field of creative writing. Students will need to bring a sack lunch, but an afternoon snack will be provided. ​After lunch, we will go outside for a short activity, so students should be prepared. In the afternoon, an invitational mic poetry session will give students the chance to listen to local poets and prose writers. Students will have the chance to create their own pieces of creative writing and participate in interactive and educational activities.
